Writing your CV can be a daunting task. Having to consider your skills, experience and how it is relevant to a particular role can prove challenging. In fact, many more mature adults still need assistance, so it is no surprise that many young people don't feel confident doing this despite the numerous templates and guidance sheets available online.
We can help! We understand how difficult this can be and are happy to talk you through the process. We will offer an initial interview to find out about you to analyse and audit your skills and experience. You will then need to create a first draft CV, including everything you can possibly think about, using our guidance information pack. Once, we receive this we will arrange a consultation appointment at a time convenient to you, to discuss your CV in detail. We may ask you for further information or to explain sections you have written. If we are not sure what you mean, then an employer may not be either. We can do this face-to-face, via Skype or on the phone, whichever makes it easiest for you. |
Application SupportMany jobs and apprenticeships require you to fill out an application form either as a hard copy or online. It requires a little experience to understand what exactly is being asked of you. We can support you in filling in your applications and help you consider relevant skills, qualities and experience you have for the role.
We will ask you to send us a copy of your application, with your initial responses in a word document for review. We will arrange a consultation appointment, at a time convenient to you, either face-to-face, via Skype or phone. We will perform a detailed analysis and skills review with you and help you formulate your answers, proof-read, spell and grammar check, then return the document to you to copy into your application. It's as easy as that! |
